CARMONY: Coordinated Action for Responsive Mixed Orchestration and Network Yield
CARMONY is a three-year Horizon Europe project reimagining traffic orchestration for a smarter, safer, and greener Europe.
Why CARMONY?

As traffic networks become more complex—with the rise of connected, automated, and shared mobility—managing them effectively is a growing challenge.
CARMONY responds to this need by designing a new way to orchestrate traffic, balancing individual needs with societal goals like safety, sustainability, and equity.

At the core of CARMONY is the Interlinked Orchestrator, a system that connects road operators, vehicles (manual and automated), and mobility platforms to make traffic smarter and more responsive.

Co-Simulation Platform
A testing engine for short-term, long-term, and EU-wide traffic impact analysis.

Real-time dashboards and mobile apps for traffic managers, drivers, and pedestrians.

A fair, inclusive ecosystem for cooperation, aligning the interests of public authorities, fleet operators, and private users.
