The ALICE EU Policy Monitor group is a guide to help you better understand and stay abreast with policymaking in the European Union (EU).

The group offers an overview of relevant Freight transport & Logistics files by providing insights, weekly updates and the key documents as part of the European legislative pipeline. 

Being part of the group will help you to be informed on the developments around policymaking in the European Union.

Members of the group:

  • will receive updates by e-mail on all the files part of the monitor regarding the steps and evolution in the policy pipeline: European Commission, Parliament & Council.
  • will have access to the repository with all files in the ALICE intranet, directing you to the relevant pages in the European Commission, Parliament, Council or official journal of the European Union.
  • will meet regularly to exchange and get an overview of the latest developments.
  • Can suggest sessions in which to focus on specific files, discuss on the implications of it on particular fields, gather other members opinions, etc.

MED COLOURS supports the digital and environmental transition in six cities and their related FUA in MED area: Livorno (Italy), Cesena (Italy), Thessaloniki (Greece), Koper (Slovenia), Lisbon (Portugal) , and Lyon (France).

The GRETA project offers solutions on how to decarbonise the so-called last mile of freight transport. In their joint efforts, the partners pilot the use of zero-emission-vehicles like cargo bikes. They also re-organise urban spaces to improve their transit resilience through curb management strategies.

The EU-funded TRANSCEND project (Transport Resilience against Cyber and Non-Cyber Events to prevent Network Disruption) aims to equip freight transport operators with an integrated set of tools guidelines, and technological solutions to enhance protection, reduce risk, and improve resilience against various threats, both physical and cyber.

Climate Resilient Port Infrastructure - CLARION Is a collaborative project funded by the Horizon Europe Programme, aimed at enhancing the resilience, sustainability, and security of European ports in the face of climate change.
