Section outline

  • Building connections, leadership and diversity across the European logistics ecosystem.

The ALICE Women in Logistics Community is a practical and inclusive space bringing together professionals from across the logistics ecosystem to connect, exchange experiences and support each other.

Its ambition is to strengthen leadership, collaboration and diversity through peer support, knowledge exchange, greater visibility and stronger professional connections.

    Why Women in Logistics?

Logistics is changing rapidly through digitalisation, automation, artificial intelligence and new sustainability requirements. These transformations are reshaping both operations and the skills needed across the sector.

Diversity brings new perspectives, strengthens innovation and helps organisations adapt to increasingly complex supply chains. At the same time, women remain underrepresented in several logistics roles, particularly in leadership and decision-making.

    What the Community focuses on

    Leadership & Development

Supporting professional growth, confidence and greater participation in leadership and decision-making.

    Peer Support & Networking

Creating meaningful connections across organisations, countries, roles and career stages.

    Visibility & Representation

Giving greater visibility to women, their expertise, achievements and contribution to logistics innovation.

    Skills & Future Talent

Exploring the skills needed in a transforming sector and making logistics careers more visible and attractive.

    Innovation & New Opportunities

Looking at how digitalisation, automation and AI can create new opportunities for a more diverse workforce.

    Collaboration

Connecting ALICE members with existing initiatives, networks and good practices across Europe.

    An inclusive approach

The Community is built around collaboration rather than exclusion. Women and male allies are encouraged to contribute, exchange experiences and support a more inclusive logistics ecosystem.

It also recognises that diversity goes beyond gender. Different generations, cultures, geographies, disciplines and professional backgrounds all contribute to stronger teams and better decision-making.
